About Seshadripuram Educational Trust
A great journey begins with a small step.
Seshadripuram Educational Trust (SET), a Public Charitable Trust, was established in 1980. Its parent body, Seshadripuram Educational Association, was registered in 1944.
The journey began in 1930, when two women with a passion for education, Smt. Anandamma and Smt. Seethamma, started a primary school in the erstwhile locality of Seshadripuram. It was a modest, Mangalore-tiled, two-room centre with 20 children. That humble beginning is now an integral part of the main campus of Seshadripuram College.
The Seshadripuram Group of Institutions traces its origins to the initiative and vision of these two pioneering women. Their legacy continues through a wide range of educational opportunities.
